Welcome to Crossgates Bowling Club
WELCOME
On behalf of our President, Alan Walker, welcome to Crossgates Bowling Club (CBC).
We are a small friendly bowling club with strong links to the local community. Lawn bowls is a sport for everyone encompassing all ages and abilities from juniors to seniors. It can be played socially and/or competitively in an individual capacity or as part of a team.
Please look out for our Family Fun Day and Try Bowls events where everyone is welcome to come along and try lawn bowls. We are also happy to meet with prospective new members at any time so please get in touch with our Club Secretary if you would like to see around our facilities.
The club has a well maintained green and a good sized clubhouse. There is a small licensed bar and kitchen facilities inside the clubhouse where members can relax before, during and after games.
Additionally, we have a regular calendar of social events all year round.

Please ensure your ties are played by the dates on the sheets. If you are struggling to meet the dates then please contact the Match Secretary.
Try Bowls
Our main try bowls day has passed but we are more than happy to take anyone on the green if they would like a go at playing bowls, adult or junior. Please contact our Secretary for more information.
2025 Gents Scottish Finals at Crossgates BC
Crossgates Bowling Club has been selected as the venue for the 2025 Bowls Scotland Gents District 8 finals:
- Sunday 22 June at 6.30pm - Senior Singles, Senior Fours & Mixed Pairs
- Monday 23 June at 6.30pm - Singles, Pairs, Triples & Fours
2025 Gents WFBA County Finals at Crossgates BC
The 2025 West Fife Bowling Association Gents finals are being played on Crossgates Green:
- Sunday 13 July at 2.30pm - Husband Singles, Gardiner Pairs, Scotcastle Triples, Peace Fours & A Syme Senior Fours
